I'm sorry that I don't know how to put the hacek about 's'. Do you call it that in Slovenian, too?
I just love your photo!! And I love both the pictures your son drew of your family.
Anyway, it is nice to meet you. I am a Canadian living in Japan, who just started blogging in February, thanks to Blogging4Educators. I still haven't figured out a lot of the tools and gadgets some am looking forward to this space as a continuing community to practice with.
I lived in Praha for 4 years (1991-1995) and used to be able to speak Czech! In the last month, I had the opportunity to visit Slovenia and think it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. We stayed in Bled close to the lake for a few days. I can send you a photo of me paddling one of those boats (like the Venetian gondolas) across the lake to the church on the top of the hill. I raced my friend up those steps and we both almost died! There is also a good photo of me hanging from the bell of the church ringing it. I think if it rang, it meant you were going to meet the person you would fall in love with. My friend that I was with at the time sent it to me with a message for my wedding. After that, we drove down to the ocean and stayed in a really nice bed and breakfast. And I am a skiier, too, so I loved the mountains on the border with Italy. I hope I have a chance to visit Slovenia again someday.
Have you ever been to Canada or Japan? :-))
Nice to meet you!

PS I will eventually find a way to put my photo the right way up, but in the meantime, it is kind of funny the way it is. Those are tropical flowers I am holding to my ears...
