I got the link to
this podcast via G. Siemens newsletter - and I just thought I should share it with you. I find Prof. Herminia's perspective quite interesting. It would be good to get your views on it too.
Networking is indeed really important...I find it vital to my activity. It has determined as how I have been developing my learning style (constantly adapting and adopting to a reality in motion).
Networking is becoming more and more relevant every day. I don;t think I am good at "stratiegic networking" - but I sure enjoy my personal and operation (professional) networks.
It is important to underline prof. Herminia Ibarra's statement. She says something like this: " not having time to cultivate your contacts, establish new, multi-disciplinary connections, and develop your professional/personal identity is no longer an excuse! It is indeed Vital for our "business"!
And this takes me to another hot topic :-) : The blog post that getting bloggers to think: Read (our) Carla's reflections
here.
She passed the post idea to me, and I am now passing it on
to you too. *I hope you join it! ;-)
