Oi Carla,
I am excited about joining your unique blog/ning. I am one of the new EVO moderators preparing for the Use of the Internet for Young EFL Learners.
tchau,

Hi Carla! Thanks for inspiring me these last two years. sorry I didn't get to really talk with you at TESOL, hopefully next time! come and visit in France!
Denise
Hi Carla! Friday morning in the EV Fair was great and connected with some more people to spread the word about B4E -- I'll tell you about it when I see you later!
RELAX ;)
Hi Carla! Can't wait to see the cards you were working on! Also, thanks for giving me the link to your Listening Plus Ning. Ning seems to be a good environment for a class, and I may give it a try with one of my classes.
Our new school year starts in April, so I have been busy prepping my classes, and thinking about how to integrate blogging and technology into the courses. My writing class is going to meet in the computer lab every other week this year.
Hi Carla,
I was actually a member of the blogging4educators group but was all the time lurking. I followed all the discussions but I guess I was overwhelmed by everything and by the fact how little I know. I set up a few blogs, the first one was more for revision purposes, which wasn't how I wanted to explore blogging but because it was a couple of weeks before the students' exam that was how I started. Now I consider it unsuccessful, the only positive thing out of it was that students started to talk about blogging and now when they see me at the college, they will often stop to chat about blogs, which is at least something.
I decided to research blogging for my MA dissertation and set up a blog for that purpose. I was reading an article by Vance Stevens, who I happened to meet at TESOL Dubai last week. I was so glad to meet him as I think that what he started 10 years ago has given incredible opportunities for teachers. It is amazing what is going on now online and how the concept of professional development has been transformed.
Back to the article, in which he advises teachers to blog first and this is the only way one can expect to instill enthusuasm for blogging in her students. I must admit that blogging is so unfamiliar here, perhaps a couple of teachers in all Doha (the capital of Qatar, where I work) blog with students.
I would really want to explore the possibilities of blogging. I am so convinced that it could change the perspectives of the way we view education here.
Thanks for the support Carla and to all bloggers here.

Hola Carlinha,

Thanks a million for creating this community at Ning. It's really a great place to collaborate and explore. I started exploring it times ago, but the most appropriate place to learn much seems to be right here in our wonderful family.
Thanks a lot again.
It's so exciting many b4ed will meet this year f2f. I do wish to meet you both - Carla and Mary - someday.
Hi Carla, Thanks for creating this space for us to continue the interaction we began in Blogging 4 Educators. I can't believe that we'll meet f2f soon too!
Thanks for the warm welcome !
As I work in the state sector in a deprived part of town (most of the kids have internet access though ) I wanted to experiment with a blog as an extension of the classroom - a place to listen /watch again / complete homework / and also have a more "human" relationship with my pupils. Does this seem possible ? !
I've looked at a site by Joe Freidhoff which makes setting up a blog seem quite easy (!) So I'll just get started I suppose !!!!
